I was very honored to have 6 photographs hang and receive two ribbons at The Plaza Arts Center. I am told there were 400 entrees from 7 states. Judge Rylan Steele, Assistant Professor of Art at Columbus State University said of the entries, "The winners in the different categories were based on the handling of the camera, the observation of color and light, and the ability of the photographer to notice a moment or subject in need of being photographed. Often in photography the simplest seeming observation produces the most transcendent image."
Of course any beauty in the photograph is entirely the women I have photographed who have honored me by sharing that beauty and allowing me to attempt to record it for all time in the two dimensions of the photograph.

Two of my photographs placed in the Athens Photography Guild contest! I was super excited because after I saw how great the other entries were I was surprised to have even placed. However the print of Amber on the left won first place, AND the photograph of Lynzee (right) won honorable mention. Guess you don't have to have much talent as a photographer if you have beautiful women in the photograph.
